2015 Sponsors

The 8th annual MacArthur Park 5k race will take place May 1, 2015 at

7:00 p.m. The race is for people of all ages and fitness levels... and

dogs too! We will once again host a 3/4 mile "Dog Jog" Family Fun

Run inside the park. 100% of proceeds benefit MacArthur Park and its

affiliated programs. Registration includes a t-shirt (while supplies last),

honorary dog tag, and Lawn Party entry with food/drink, beer and live

music to follow the  race. Registration/checkin will be 5:00-6:45 p.m.

inside the MacArthur Museum of AR Military History (second floor).

 

5K Race

$30   Individual Adult

$15   Individual Child 5-12

 

"Dog Jog" Family Fun Run

$30  Individual Adult 13 years and up

$15  Individual Child 5-12

$0    Children under 4 and strollers

 

Corporate Cup (Teams)

A corporate cup team is composed of four individuals, with at least one

female and one male entrant. Each corporate team member must have

been employed by the company for at least 1000 hours. Wheelchair

athletes are welcome. There are no geographical restrictions on team or

individual participation.

$200   Second Team

$175   Each additional team (same company)

payable to MacArthur Park 5K, pay online at by clicking the red "register"

Deadline for registration is Wednesday, April 29. There will be no corporate race day registrations. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Volunteering

We request that volunteers be at least 14 years of age, though we can accommodate special needs. Opportunities available are assisting with check-in, coordinating runners, distributing food and drink, working the post-race event, cleaning up, and more! Most volunteers work in pairs or small groups, and we will never ask you to do something that you feel uncomfortable doing. On the day of the race, you may work one (or more!) of three available shifts that last approximately 2-4 hours. Simply complete the volunteer form (link is above) and return it to us. You will be notified when we receive your form, and your shift placement will be confirmed one week prior to the race. If you do not hear from us by late April, please call Chellie Castellanos at (501) 375-0121, or email downtownpartnership@downtownlr.com.
